1. Make sure you are connected to the mifi’s Wi-Fi signal.
2. Type http://192.168.1.1 into your browser to go to the mifi device admin page.
3. Enter “admin” as the password.
4. Settings > Wi-Fi Settings > Basic settings
5. Enter a new name and new password of your choice.
6. Select “Apply”, then log out.

How long does the battery last on an ananda mifi?

The Ananda Mifi comes with a 2050 mAh battery. For regular browsing it lasts 6-7 hours. For heavy usage it lasts 3-4 hours. On stand-by, it lasts 70-80 hours.

The Ananda Mifi Plus comes with a 3000 mAh battery. For regular browsing it lasts 8-9 hours. For heavy usage it lasts 5-6 hours. On stand-by, it lasts 90-100 hours.

The Ananda Mifi Pro comes with a 2000 mAh battery. For regular browsing it lasts 6-7 hours. For heavy usage it lasts 3-4 hours. On stand-by, it lasts 70-80 hours.

How long does it take to fully charge a depleted battery?

The ananda mifi battery takes approximately 4-5 hours to charge fully.

How many devices can connect to the mifi at one time?

Up to 10 people or devices can connect to the mifi simultaneously.

How do I reset my mifi to the original factory settings?

1. Make sure you are connected to the mifi’s Wi-Fi signal.
2. Type http://192.168.1.1 into your browser to go to the mifi device admin page.
3. Select: Settings > Device Settings > Reset
4. Select “restore factory settings”. Alternatively, press and hold the “reset” button, found on the side of the mifi inside the back cover, and the mifi will be restored to default factory settings.

Another way : Press the circle button (3 - 5 seconds) beside the sim slot. Device must be powered on during the reset button.

Does ananda offer a warranty for the mifi?

Yes, your device is covered against manufacturer defects under warranty for 12 months from the date of purchase and 6 month for battery. If you are experiencing problems, please bring your ananda mifi to your nearest ananda store. Search for your nearest store in the my ananda application (Login/More/Store map). For detailed warranty T&Cs, please refer to the section of the FAQs below that refers to your device specifically.

How do I check if my mifi is fully charged?

Once you have fully charged your device, the battery indicator bar will show as full. You can also check through URL 192.168.1.1 for battery percentage.

Do I need to download a separate app for the ananda device?

No. You only need to download the my ananda app.

How do I shut down my mifi?

Press and hold the power button until the screen turns blank.

Can anyone connect to my mifi network?

Only someone who has the password can connect to your mifi network. As long as you have enabled your wireless security and set a new password, your hotspot should be secure.

What do I do if my mifi is lost or damaged?

In case of loss or damage to the mifi, please contact ananda Customer Care on 09 96 9787878 or visit one of our stores for support. Please report your SIM as lost to avoid fraud.

Can I use a different SIM in my device?

No. Your mifi only supports an ananda SIM.

How long is the warranty period of the mifi?
