What speeds do I need to transfer large files?
You can transfer large files at any speed; it’s more a question of how long that transfer will take. Here are a couple of tables to help you out:
The amount of data transferred per hour for connection speeds ranging from 1.5Mbps (675MB) to 1000Mbps (450,000MB).
The time it takes to transfer a 1GB file for connection speeds ranging from 1.5Mbps (5,333s) to 1000Mbps (8s).
My internet seems slow. Am I getting the speed I’m paying for?
If your Ananda internet connection seems slow or you’re encountering a lot of buffering, you’ll want to run a speed test to measure your download and upload speeds. For the most accurate results, be sure to run your test without any other devices on the network.
If you’re not getting the speed you’re paying for, you may need to contact Ananda Customer Care. They can help troubleshoot the problem.

How long does it take to get connected to Home Wireless Broadband?
Not long! As soon as it arrives (within 2-5 business days for metro areas or 7 days for regional areas), simply plug it in and you’ll be able to get online.
What if Home Wireless Broadband isn’t the right fit for me?
If Home Wireless Broadband isn’t working out for you, we may have another broadband plan that will better suit your needs. We recommend that you check your address on our website for alternative broadband plans.
Can I use my router from another provider?
No. You must use the Wireless Broadband supplied by us.
What does it mean by Router + 300 GB?
It is a gigabit router that supports up to 300 GB with 30 days validity.
How does a gigabit router differ from a non gigabit router?
Gigabit Routers can handle transfer speeds of up to one Gigabit (1000 Megabits per second) when plugged in by cable. Non Gigabit routers cannot handle these speeds and are usually restricted to a maximum of around 100 Mb/sec.

Does Ananda Require a Contract?
Ananda offers plans with no term commitment month to month service (referred to as “no contract”) that may be canceled at any time without an early termination fee.

Yes. Ananda performs a credit check in order to verify the identity of its customers and in order to qualify its customers. In the event that a customer does not qualify for service, a small deposit may be required to set up new service.

The router connects to the ananda 4G+ network via the ananda SIM, and then wirelessly shares this data connection with nearby, Wi-Fi-enabled devices such as laptops, smartphones, tablets etc.
How many devices can be connected to the router?
Up to 32 devices can connect to the router simultaneously.
How do I connect a device to the Wi-Fi router?
- 1. Switch on your device (eg. smartphone, laptop).
- 2. Select the router network name (SSID) from the list of available networks.
- 3. Enter the password (Wi-Fi key) The network name (SSID) and password (Wi-Fi key) are found on the bottom of the router.
Where do I find the network name (SSID) and password?
Network name (SSID) and password (Wi-Fi key) are written at the bottom or behind of the router.
How do I change the Wi-Fi name (SSID) and/ or Wi-Fi password?
- 1. Make sure you are connected to the router’s Wi-Fi signal.
- 2. Type into your browser to go to the device management web interface.
- 3. Enter SSID and password (found on the bottom of the router).
- 4. Select: Settings > WLAN > WLAN Basic Settings > Change SSID and WPA pre-shared key.
- 5. Enter a new name and new password of your choice.
- 6. Select “Apply”, then log out.
Which devices are compatible with ananda router ?
Any device with Wi-Fi capability is compatible with ananda; phones, tablets, smart TVs, games consoles, etc. Can all connect to an ananda mifi or router.
